Whether you're a page-turning enthusiast or a casual reader, our BOOK SWAP & BUBBLY soirée promises delightful discoveries and sparkling conversations with our fabulous flock!
HERE'S HOW IT WILL WORK:
Each person in attendance to the event will bring their favorite book (new or used / any genre) to the event, wrapped in fun gift wrapping paper with a little note taped to it about why they loved the book and some clues as to what it is about, without revealing the name of it.
As guests arrive, we will put all the books on display, so during the mix & mingle portion of the event everyone can read all the little clue cards about the various books.
Each person will get a complimentary glass of bubbly to enjoy, as well as a hand-stamped book mark to decorate & take home as our little gift to you! Our full menu of snacks, shareables, flights & drinks will be available for purchase on the night of the event.
Next, we will have everyone take their seats and our host Tracye will have everyone introduce themselves and choose a book from the wrapped mystery selections on display. They'll read the clue card aloud, and the group will guess what the book might be. The book will be revealed, and if you're right - you'll win a prize!
All guests in attendance will have a chance to drop a rafflet ticket in our champagne bucket to be entered to win our Boozy Bookish Basket worth $150 in gifts & prizes!
After our super fun book swap is over - everyone will learn about our new & exciting "Chick Lits Birdie Book Club" and the monthly subscription option and have exclusive access to join our club starting in July! The first 20 new members to join book club at this special event, will also win a Chick Lits TUMBLER!
Tickets are just $24.50/pp and include a glass of complimentary bubbly, a hand stamped book mark, one book from the swap, and exclusive access & incentives to join our Birdie Book Club! Limited to 50 guests, this event is expected to sell out quickly - so be sure to reserve your seats right away!
